Manipur White is handcrafted, full leaf WHITE TEA, made from the wild tea plants of Pangen Village in Southern Manipur, which is nestled at an elevation of about 2000 feet above sea level. These tea plants are grown in the wild mountain forest, they are MORE THAN ORGANIC. They thrive in the natural habitat of Forest Mountain, which have never seen any form of chemicals (fertilizers, pesticides, weedicides, etc) at any point in time. They are nurtured by nature through its bio-diverse ecosystem.

These teas are Handpicked, Indoor & Outdoor Withered and Sun-dried.

Texture/Mouth feel

It is refreshing and smooth in the mouth. It is clean and has a soothing sensation.

Aroma & Flavor

This white tea has a punch full of floral notes – summer flower & sweet notes.

Tea Liquor Color

It’s clean and transparent with a yellow-sunshine shade.

Benefits

Normal Brewing

  • Leaves/Water Equation : 2 grams of dry tea leaves in 150 ml of hot water
  • Use hot water at about 85 degree Celsius
  • Do not boil the tea leaves
  • Brew the tea leaves for about a minute in the hot water
  • Strain it and enjoy the taste of nature and the richness of forest bio-diversity
  • The tea leaves can be steeped multiple times, which makes it good value for money

Gong Fu Brewing

  • Leaves/Water Equation : 5 grams of dry tea leaves in 100 ml of hot water
  • Use hot water at about 85 degree Celsius
  • Brew the tea leaves for about 10-20 seconds in the first infusion
  • Increase the brewing period by about 5-10 seconds for every subsequent infusions
